Mollie S. Dahlin
In the area of civil litigation, she mainly devotes her time to arguing motions in court and representing clients in bench and jury trials.
Previously, Dahlin was a criminal prosecutor at the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office. While there, she prosecuted general misdemeanor and traffic offenses and participated in the Specialty Courts Division where she prosecuted domestic violence cases and cases in Drug Court and Mental Health Court. She also prosecuted misdemeanors and felony offenses in Juvenile Court.
After graduating from Northern Illinois University College of Law, she has actively participated in the mentor program, helping first-year students navigate law school.
She is a member of the McHenry County Bar Association. She also is a member of the executive board of the Child Advocacy Center for McHenry County, where she serves as both secretary and treasurer. Her experiences in Juvenile Felony Review taught Dahlin the importance of the Child Advocacy Center and its hard work and dedication to the children of McHenry County.
Born and raised in Woodstock, Illinois, she attended Colorado State University before moving back home to be closer to her family. Her family consists of two wonderful children, her husband and assorted farm animals.
