April 4, 2011

Ruth A. Schlossberg moderated a “Meet the Candidates Forum” on the morning of March 11 for School District 220 in Barrington, Illinois. The PTO President’s Council sponsored a two-hour question-and-answer session for the five candidates.

A crowd of about 100 people participated in the event, held at the Barrington Area Library. Questions focused heavily on issues relating to school finances.

Schlossberg, an experienced local government lawyer for Zukowski, Rogers, Flood & McArdle, has a sterling educational background herself. She is a graduate of Homewood-Flossmoor High School and the University of Michigan. She also studied at the London School of Economics and earned her law degree from Yale Law School.
