As a former Assistant State’s Attorney with the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office, Theresa Voge Kaman’s most recent experience includes the prosecution of petty traffic through misdemeanor level criminal offenses, child abuse neglect and misdemeanor and felony level juvenile delinquency cases, felony review and grand jury proceedings and serving as a member of both the specialty mental health court and the Child Advocacy Center’s multidisciplinary teams. During that time, she prosecuted 12 jury trials and 25 bench trials.

Kaman has also previously represented clients in residential real estate purchase and sale contracts, deed preparation, land trusts and the drafting of private notes, mortgages and leases.

Kaman attended Trinity Bible College, graduated summa cum laude and as class valedictorian, with a B.A. in Biblical and Ministerial Studies. She then graduated from Drake University Law School with honors.
