David W. McArdle concentrates his practice in the areas of local government and construction law. McArdle has been a featured speaker at numerous seminars in both fields, and he has written extensively on these issues. He is a former chair of the Local Government Section Counsel of the Illinois State Bar Association.
McArdle is an adviser to the Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association and its members on construction-related matters. He is the author of Construction Law Road Map, a regularly updated handbook for contractors and small business owners. The handbook seeks to clarify critical legal issues that often plague business leaders. It was published and distributed by the Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association, and it is now available to the public.
Over the course of his career, McArdle’s practice also has encompassed other areas of law such as:

McArdle, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, attended Indiana University and graduated from John Marshall Law School.
