Wakeman Appointed to Lake in the Hills Parks Foundation

Elizabeth Felt Wakeman has been appointed to the board of directors of the People for Parks Foundation of Lake in the Hills, Inc. The Illinois not-for-profit corporation, established in 2008, seeks to support the parks and recreation department of the McHenry County village of Lake in the Hills through volunteerism and fundraising.

A longtime resident of Lake in the Hills, Liz Wakeman has been actively involved in village governance since 1996. Besides serving as a village trustee from 2004 to 2007, Wakeman was a co-founder of the parks and recreation board and a member of the advisory committee of the Lake in the Hills Airport for three years.

Wakeman’s law practice focuses primarily on civil litigation and family law. She joined Zukowski, Rogers, Flood & McArdle – the largest law firm in McHenry County, Illinois – in 2007.
