Thoms has been very active in charitable and civic associations. She also served as municipal attorney for the Village of Richmond.
PRIOR EMPLOYMENT
Thoms started her legal career in Chicago at Foss, Schuman, Drake & Barnard. She moved her practice to Crystal Lake in 1986 when she joined Zukowski Rogers Flood and McArdle. Thoms was with Zukowski Rogers Flood & McArdle for 21 years, including 16 years as a partner. She then decided to open her own practice. Eleven years later, she rejoined Zukowski Rogers Flood & McArdle as of counsel.
